What is the Department of Educations e-Recruit System (EdHIRES)?

0

The Department of Education’s (ED) e-Recruit System, called the ED Online Opportunities Recruitment System (EdHIRES), is the service delivery mechanism that automates the federal hiring process and is fully integrated with the Federal government’s USAJOBS (Recruitment One-Stop (ROS) System). EdHIRES is used by ED to build and post vacancies directly to USAJOBS and to receive on-line applications from job applicants. After the vacancy closes the HR office uses the system to automatically rate, rank and certify candidates. Top-talent is instantly identified and ready to be forwarded to the selecting official.
