Our selection procedure is based on academic qualifications, either predicted or achieved; the school or college reference; and an assessment of the Personal Statement. We take the Statement very seriously as a measure of the width of an applicant’s reading and the depth of his or her commitment to the subject. We also look for signs of breadth and originality.Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual advice about the content of Personal Statements.
