What is the Department doing to engage the RACF owners?
The Department has distributed copies of the Program Guidelines to all Australian Government funded aged care facilities and advertised the expanded Initiative in the professional medical press. The AGPN as national coordinator of the Initiative is engaging peak aged care groups, such as Aged Care Association Australia and Aged and Community Services Australia. Through the peak organisations, the AGPN will disseminate information about the Initiative and encourage aged care facilities to participate.
