What is the Dental Management Simulation?
The Dental Practice: A Management Simulation is a computerized simulation of management decisions required in a dental practice. Each player makes a series of business decisions about their simulated dental practice. The program then determines how many patients you saw, what your expenses were, and how much income you made as a result of those business decisions. You then use those results as the basis for a new series of decisions for the upcoming simulated quarter. It is historically based, so that each quarter builds on the previous one, and is competitively based, so that each practice competes against the other practices in the game. Each period represents one quarter (three months) of real time. At the end of the game, the winning practice is the one that made the most money!
