The True Rhetoric vs. Reality Democrats will bring a New Direction for America. Did you really want to “stay the course”? The record in the stock market mostly reflects corporate profits and in many cases profiteering in Iraq. The majority of Americans do not own a single share of stock. the unemployment rate is NOT at a 25 year low. It is the lowest it has been since May 2001. Taxes MIGHT be at a 20 year low, but the national dabt is at an ALL TIME high. This year alone, the U.S. will pay a half a trillion dollars on the interest alone. How is that good for the country? We DO need a new direction. Federal revenues are at an all time high because of corporate profits and becuase the rich are now filthy rich. The average Americans “real income” has gone down in EACH of the last 5 years.
