What is the Delta Water Supply Project?
The project will develop a new supplemental water supply for the Stockton Metropolitan Area. Water from the Delta will be pumped through miles of underground pipeline located along Eight Mile Road to a new state-of-the-art surface water treatment plant. The water will be treated to the highest drinking water standards and distributed to Stockton residents and businesses. The water treatment plant will be located north of Eight Mile Road on Lower Sacramento Road.
