What is the Delinquent Service Charge?
Charges for the water and sewer service are due upon receipt, delinquent in 30 days. When a customer does not pay a water and sewer bill on time, the cost of accounting and processing becomes higher. In addition, if the account is processed for termination due to nonpayment, the customer is charged $15.00. To have the water turned back on, all outstanding charges must be paid. Customers who find themselves in a situation that could result in the water being terminated should call one of the Utility Billing Technicians as soon as possible at 303-431-3070. The City will attempt to work out a solution with the resident to prevent termination of service. .
