What is the deformation shape of the stacker boom? And why is the deformation shape so important?
The deformation shape is the stacker boom deflecting under material handling payload . The large deformation of boom, originated by inefficient arrangement of reeving sequence and/or poor location of lift points, often reflects large boom stresses and less payload. The boom deflection can be easily improved with the SDP program after the user has gone through different reeving arrangements and/or through adjustments of different lift locations. Improving the boom deformation shape is one of the most effective ways to achieve the entire system optimization.
