A Scale interval, often called as an Interval Scale is actually a method that is used for ranking items in order of one step further as the distance between two adjacent points on the scale is equal. One unit on the interval scale represents the magnitude n the characteristics which is being measured across the whole range of the interval scale. This kind of scale does not have any true zero point so it is really not possible to make any statement about how many times one score is higher than the other score.
