What is the definition of ranges for Hot, Intermediate, and Cold starts and cool-downs? Where in those temperature ranges should the turbine starts and ends be?
Hot conditions vary unit-by-unit, but in general, a steam unit is Hot through an overnight shutdown. Cold conditions also vary unit-by-unit, but in general, a unit is cold after a two or three-day shutdown. Intermediate would be a resource that has recently been On-line and for which neither Hot nor Cold conditions are applicable.
