What is the definition of love (gods unconditional love)?

‘Agape’ is the greek word for unconditional love used in few places in the Bible to describe the love of God the Wikipedia definition – unconditional, self-sacrificing, active, volitional, and thoughtful love. Unconditional love = love without exclusion 1 John 4 v 8 and 1 John 4 v 16 are two passages that are written in the context of agape love. Not sure who first coined this but I really like it: “LOVE IS NOT A FEELING, IT’S AN ACT OF YOUR WILL” In other words you may not feel like acting in a loving way or a person may not deserve to be shown love but you choose to, because it’s the right thing to do. That’s what love is, agape love exists even in the absense of favourable emotion.
