What is the definition of exchanging promise rings?
It’s a promise to make a promise. Quite stupid if you ask me. Promise rings are usually given out by kids to signify that someday in the future you will get engaged and then married. And yes, I did say “kids” and not “teens.” Teenagers are too young and inexperience to know what “true love” is. The first person they date is usually their “true love”and when that doesn’t work out for them, the next person is now their “true love” and the next, and so on. Basically what I’m saying is if you two are “meant to be together,” then everything will work out until you both are of full mental capacity to make such a life altering decision (as an adult) to be together. Don’t bother making a promise to yourself that you have extremely high odds of not keeping.
