I would have to agree with both “nice” and “cliffy”. The true definition of Communism isn’t the so-called Communism that we have seen in countries such as China and the former USSR. Communism is basically a utopian ideal, where there is a moneyless stateless society where everyone has equal access to what he/she needs. It does NOT advocate that Heart Surgeons earn exactly the same as what a toilet cleaner earns (contrary to popular media opinion) as over time, as Marx argued, money would cease to exist.He also advocated that intitutions such as marriage and private property would also cease to exist. He advocated that Communism could only take place through an initial “Proletarian” dictatorship which would then lead to this stateless and moneyless utopia, where everyone in the whole world would unite.
