What is the definition of clients household income (data element 9)?
The Federal poverty guidelines by definition consider household income by household size. HAB does not require grantees and providers to adopt specific definitions of “household” or “income.” Grantees and providers should use the definitions that best match their eligibility requirements and apply those consistently across clients. Table 1 presents the Federal poverty guidelines for 2009.
