What is the definition of Cell Therapy?
Cell therapy is a technology that uses healthy, functional cells (either autologous or allogeneic) to replace diseased or dysfunctional cells to treat a disease. For the purposes of this RFA, cell therapy includes either transplantation of cells, modified or unmodified, or the mobilization or homing of cells to the diseased or dysfunctional area.
