What is the definition of an enrolment for the purposes of entering data into the competency completion online system?
A qualification enrolment is recorded in the year a student commences study in the qualification or accredited course, not necessarily in the year the student completed an enrolment form. For example: If a student ‘enrols’ in a qualification in November 2009, but commences study in February 2010, this is recorded as an enrolment in 2009. A unit of competency enrolment should be reported in the year the student commences study in the unit of competency, this includes commencing RPL. A credit transfer is not counted as an enrolment. For example: If a student commences a unit of competency in November 2009 this is recorded as an enrolment in 2009.
