What is the definition of a “true american”?
In my opinion the only ‘true’ USA American must be the American Indian who is indigenous to North America. Anyone else started their life in America as immigrants. Please believe that I am not trying to belittle those who have made their home in North America. It is simply a fact that the North American Indian is the only ‘true’ American. No one blames anyone for wanting to go to a country where they can start a new life without the oppression, starvation and poverty of their old one. Poseidon ADDENDUM My apologies. I inadvertently typed ‘I am trying to belittle those who have made their home in North America’ when I meant to type ‘I am ‘NOT’ trying to belittle those who have made their home in North America’ This of course has now be put right. This was completely unintentional and if I offended anyone, especially our US friends, I apologise unequivocally.
