What is the definition of a political boundary?
A political boundary is the demarcation line that separates countries from each other or states or provinces within each country. There are usually no visible, physical delineations, although sometimes natural boundaries like rivers, mountain ranges or oceans will serve as guides for the political boundaries, or man-made boundaries like walls and fences are erected.
