What is the definition of a chemical or biological laboratory?
The following criteria must be met for a room to be identified as a lab: • Room is directly used for teaching or research, or room directly supports same (including, but not limited to: supporting chemical storerooms, autoclave rooms, shops, darkrooms), and • At some point the room would likely contain chemicals (solid, liquid, or gas with volume of 4L or more) or biological materials.
