The Defense Acquisition Corps (DAC) consists of a select group of highly skilled military and civilian acquisition professionals who meet certain education, training, and experience requirements. Department of Navy (DON) Critical Acquisition Positions (CAPs) must be filled with DAC members. Membership is not automatic – Upon meeting the criteria, the acquisition workforce member must apply through Register-Now. Note: AMOS 8058 is synonymous with DAC.
