What is the default code page of UW-DBM 4 and how to change it?
UW-DBM 4 supports Chinese, Japanese and Koreans in the same time when you select CJK fonts for different CJK text blocks. But if the CJK text did not select CJK font (i.e., the font is Times New Roman or other English font), UW-DBM 4 will automatically map the default double-byte font to the CJK text. Default code page will determine which CJK font to be set to the default double-byte font. For example, if you set default code page to Big5, Chinese Big5 font will be set to the default double-byte font. UW-DBM 4 will automatically map non-CJK font text to default double-byte font. Click first button of UWDBM 4 toolbar, you can select the default code page to Big5, GB, HZ, Shift-JIS, JIS and KSC. Also, UW-DBM 4 double-byte input program will be set to the new default code page automatically after you changed the default code page.
