What is the death flower used for in the Sims 3?
If you grew the Death Blossom and are keeping it in your Sim’s inventory, if that Sim dies he/she can offer the Death Blossom to the Grim Reaper in exchange for more time. (Live a little longer.) As for the Sims 3 Exchange, the custom hair that is shown on a Sim on the Sims 3 Exchange isn’t packaged with the Sim when the Sim is uploaded to the Sims 3 Exchange. So when you go to download that Sim- unless it is a hairstyle that is in the game, you probably won’t get that hair. (Or even that clothing if it is custom clothing.) What you will get are the patterns and colors that are used. That will be saved. Only if it is on Sims 3 content that’s in the game, though. That you can use. (Say the creator made a different pattern on a pre-existing dress and uploaded a Sim with that dress and pattern to the Exchange you will be able to get that pattern in your saved patterns.)
