What is the deal with Wireless phone providers?
They have all seemed to regress somewhat lately. I figure that since the attacks of “9-11” cellular companies have been riding a wave of increased demand, and thus have been slowly-but-surely decreasing what the consumer gets vs. what the consumer pays. This seems to be the case for ALL the companies I’m aware of… With this said, now to focus on Sprint PCS. A bit of background I’ve been with all the wireless providers over the last 10 years except for Verizon. I’ve always seemed to get more for my money each year that I signed up with the next provider. Everything about the industry was looking up: More towers going up everywhere, more coverage, more minutes, better phones with longer battery life, smaller phones, etc. Now, I guess they’ve reached a “saturation” point where the providers are now trying to rake in the profits without spending a lot of their income on more towers, nor improving their service/customer service. I first got on with Sprint in 1999 after a horrible year wit
