What is the deal with airfare and airport taxes?

U.S. government-imposed charges include a $13.70 international departure tax, a $13.70 international arrival tax, and $15.10 in immigration and customs fees. Foreign taxes will fluctuate based on the prevailing exchange rate. We do not charge processing fees.
