What is the deadline to submit a FAFSA form?
In order to qualify for most Maryland State Scholarships, your FAFSA (www.fafsa.ed.gov) must be mailed before March 1 each year. At HCC, priority consideration is given to students who complete the application process prior to March 15th. Additionally, some scholarships and certain types of aid may have different deadlines. Check the Student Guide and the HCC Open Scholarship website for more information. Even though the priority deadline exists, the Financial Aid Office continues to accept financial aid applications and award financial aid to students throughout the year.
