What is the deadline to apply for programs beginning in 2006?
Applications must be submitted by November 1, 2005. Only students nominated by staff members of Partnering organizations during the 3 months prior to that date can submit applications. Back to top How do students apply? Students must be nominated by a staff member of a local Youth organization with which Pangaea partners. Once nominated, students who fit the criteria for participation complete an application, submit recommendations from a teacher or guidance counselor, the nominator and a peer, and have an in-home interview. Students also complete a health form that is evaluated by a physician. Our Selection Committee, which is composed of staff, volunteers, and community members, will assesses each applicant.
