The deadline for the 2008 Promoting Active Communities assessment is September 15, 2009. Submissions after this date will be considered for an award in the following year. All communities should be aware that the database is periodically refreshed to allow for annual clean up. This may affect the data entered by communities. When a clean up is scheduled, communities with a self-assessment in progress will be notified via email and given instructions so that data entry on their form will not be lost.
