Contributions (including corporate matching gifts) must be received by the AIDS Walk San Francisco office before 5 p.m. on Friday, August 14 to count toward incentive awards or team totals. We will still gladly accept contributions after that date, but they cannot be credited to specific individuals or teams.

SHOULD I DONATE TO SOMEONE I DO NOT KNOW WHO IS COLLECTING DONATIONS ON THE STREET, IN PUBLIC SPACES, OR EVEN DOOR-TO-DOOR? A: No. We strongly discourage our participants from collecting donations in public spaces such as street corners, public transportation, street festivals, and door-to-door to businesses. We advise you not to give donations (cash, checks, or credit card information) to someone you do not know who is soliciting for donations in these settings.
