What is the DC Public Library Foundation?
The DCPL Foundation is the private fundraising arm of the DC Public Library system. As an organization separate from the Library, the Foundation seeks private sector support for improvements and enhancements which cannot be funded through local government funding. It is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization registered with the IRS and District of Columbia. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Federal ID # 52-1481008.
