What is the DB2 Student Ambassador Program?
The DB2 Student Ambassador program is a voluntary program designed to have students promote the use of DB2 at educational institutions. Students highly motivated in learning and using DB2 are invited to participate. Though the program is voluntary, it gives students a chance to learn more about DB2, develop presentation skills and marketing skills. All of these skills will be valuable in their careers. The more activities performed, the better your resume will look! We hope this will help students get a job more easily in the future. Duties of DB2 student ambassadors DB2 Student ambassadors who are selected need to perform the following activities during their period: • Establish a DB2 User Group in their university (if it doesn’t already exist) • This is an informal support group which can be run anyway desired • Create a Web page or join the DB2 on Campus group in Facebook.com.
