The Data Driver is a tool included with your GS1 membership and uses your GS1 Company Prefix (the number that uniquely identifies your company) to create a bar code number (GTIN) to uniquely identify your products. The Data Driver adheres to the current standards represented in the General GS1 Specifications. When you enter information about your products, the Data Driver assigns accurate bar code numbers (GTINs) in a sequential manner that use the correct symbology and adhere to quality specifications for size and placement, as specified in the EAN.UCC System standards.
