What is the cutoff time for entering payments?
Any payment entered into online bill pay before 4:00 a.m. will be processed later that same day and, then, withdrawn from your checking account. • How far in advance should I set up payments? At least 10 days in advance of the due date. • How do I know if a payment was received? Call the merchant directly for verification. • What merchants except online bill payments? Most merchants accept electronic payments. To easily locate your merchant, please check the “Merchant Directory List.” If your merchant is not listed, simply enter its name in the “Add a Payee” box. This will prompt you to add the merchants name and address. Once all the information is entered, payment will be made. • Are there any restrictions for online bill pay? The restrictions include payees outside of the United States. Tax payments and court-ordered payments are discouraged and must be scheduled at your own risk. • How does online bill pay work for joint account holders? Your online bill pay account will have only
