The latest version of MBSA is version 2.1, which is also referred to as 2.1.2104.0 in the About Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer link in the graphical interface or when run in the command-line interface. . If a newer version of MBSA is released, MBSA will automatically report that a newer version of MBSA is available in the graphical and command-line interfaces. In the command-line interface, this check can be disabled with the /nvc option.
