What is the current US phase out date for HCFC-142b?
HCFC-142b and HCFC-22 can continue to be used in the US for foams until December 31, 2009. However, EPA has developed very specific rules on which foam sectors can use these HCFCs under which substitution scenarios (the rules are different depending on whether CFCs or HCFCs are being substituted).
