What is the current treatment recommendation for tuberculous lymphadenopathy?
Under the revised national tuberculosis control programme (RNTCP)tuberculous lymphadenopathy is included in category III .The intensive phase consists of 2months of INH,RIF,Pyrazinamide,given every alternative days followed by 4 months INH,RIF given alternatively for 4 months.If the patient is seriously ill it can be considered as category I and Ethambutol added in the intensive phase Category: Treatment
