Any State program receiving federal funds is subject to the provisions of the Cash Management Improvement Act. Departments that have programs receiving $87 million or more are required to report quarterly to FSCU the receipts and expenditure information for those programs. Anytime departments receive $50 million or more in new federal funds, they must immediately report the program and funding information to FSCU. The information should also be provided to your Finance budget analyst.
