Visit visas are issued for a purpose. For a visit, for medical treatment, studying etc – not to work. Therefore the UAE wants foreigners to go back home after their visit and not going back and forth while working in the UAE. Nationals who are entitled to obtain a visa up-on-arrival still can go on a visa run. If a visit visa will be converted into an employment visa without leaving the UAE will be decided case by case. The regular way is to land a job, return to the home country for a month and re-enter the UAE on an employment visa. Or to apply for a job online and enter the UAE with the right visa from the beginning. Take care.
