What is the current status of NTRUEncrypt within standards bodies?

0

The core NTRU algorithms are currently being standardized in the IEEE P1363 working group. This is a multi-vendor group attended by many respected cryptographers, which exists to standardize algorithms in broad terms (in other words, to present engineers with a detailed analysis of the choices which may be made in implementing an algorithm, without mandating security parameters or guaranteeing interoperability; interoperability is guaranteed by the CEES documents, described below). The 1363 working group voted in May to include NTRUEncrypt in its current draft document. The vote was unanimous.
