What is the current status of development at Lavasa?
The first town of Lavasa is Dasve, which will be ready for occupation in 2009-10. While basic infrastructure is already complete, work is at an advanced stage of development of Villas, Apartments and all tourism, health, leisure, education facilities in Lavasa. The access road from Pune to Lavasa has been constructed. Dasve dam, a permanent water body, is ready. Close to 75 apartments, town hall, a four star Fortune Select Dave, commercial centre and around 16 sub-stations are in an advanced stage of completion. Infrastructure works in the valley such as water supply, water treatment plant and intake well structures are commissioned. Education and health facilities are underway. Dasve town will be open for occupation by 2010.
