Canada is right now moving along with USA towards recession. Whole world is heading towards recession. As Canada’s economy is strong within few months or days Canadian dollar may keep raising irrespective of USD. Allowing USD to fall. This affects very worst for Canadian tourism. First because weak dollar Canada wont make enough money with US tourists. Second US people are not in position to spend money for tourism. Canada may suffer in tourism for few years.
