What is the current state of CIPFA’s consolidation talks with ICAEW?
Draft proposals to integrate with the ICAEW were published by both institutes in April 2005. Since then, we have invited comments from members on the website, via CIPFA’s e-newsletter, in Spreadsheet and at a number of events, including CIPFA’s Annual Conference in Manchester. The work of preparing the detailed proposals has continued and these, together with voting papers will be distributed at the end of September in preparation for Special General Meetings of both Institutes on 25th October. More information is available on our website at http://www.cipfa.org.uk/consolidation/proposals.
