What is the current stage of bilateral relations between Kenya and Nigeria?
I can say that the current bilateral relations between Kenya and Nigeria are quite high. The relations are cordial; they have been growing for a very long time. But one area we need to focus more on is trade because the trade levels are not as high as expected and that is why we are trying to see the possibility of increasing and enhancing the current levels of trade between Kenya and Nigeria. Kenya is one country reputed for its developed tourism potentials and this is one area that Nigeria would actually like to learn from Kenya. How willing are you to help Nigeria achieve the desired heights in tourism? As you know Kenya is one of the best tourist destinations in Africa and the world at large. Our tourism has really developed and has come a long way and is now one of the top most foreign income earners in our country. Therefore my country takes tourism seriously. What I can say between Nigeria and Kenya is that there is a lot we can learn from Nigeria as far as tourism is concerned.
