Contact details for your local Public Health Unit can be found at: www.health.nsw.gov.au/publichealth/infectious/phus.asp People who meet the case definition for suspected H1N1 Influenza 09 will be isolated (placed in a single room) while they are assessed. The assessment includes having swabs taken of the nose and throat for laboratory testing. This will show whether they are infected with any type of influenza, and if so, whether it is H1N1 Influenza 09.
