What is the current coverage area for ADS-B?
The rollout of ADS-B throughout the United States has already begun with services currently being provided in Alaska, Oregon, and Washington state, along the Eastern states, as well as other select areas. Key sites undergoing present deployment include the Gulf of Mexico, Juneau, Philadelphia, Miami, and Louisville. The FAA expects the contractor, ITT Corporation, will have the services throughout the entire National Airspace System by 2013.
