What is the current charge for a prescription?
The current prescription charge is 6.40 per item. If you know that you will require a large number of items over the coming months, then you can purchase a season ticket from the Health Authority, which will save you money on your prescription charges. Season tickets can be issued for either 4 months or 12 months at a time and the current costs are 32.40 and 89.00 respectively.
