What is the currency and can one use credit cards or access ATM machines?
The island uses US dollars and Eastern Caribbean dollars interchangeably. Major credit cards are accepted in most, but not all, places. Gas stations and some grocery stores do not accept credit cards, so bring some cash and Traveler’s checks. There are also ATM machines on the island where you can get cash in US dollars for the requisite fee.
