What is the curfew law and times?
Curfew law for juveniles under the age of 17 years old, (IC 31-37-3): Indiana has a new curfew law for teenagers. A bill was recently signed that makes it illegal for youths, 17 years and 16 years old, to be in a public place without a parent or guardian after 11:00 pm and before 5:00 am Sundays through Thursdays and after 1:00am and before 5:00 am on Friday and Saturday nights. Juveniles 15 years old or younger have a curfew time of no later than 11:00 pm and before 5:00 am everyday of the week. These times and days have no influence on whether school is in session or not.
