WHAT IS THE CURFEW IN LAKE OSWEGO?
The City has adopted state law, which says it shall be unlawful for any child under the age of 18 years to be in or remain in or upon any street, alley, park, or other public place between the hours of 9:15 p.m. and 6 a.m, for children under 14 and not in high school, except during the months of June, July, and August, when the hours are 10:15 p.m. to 6 a.m. Such a child may be exempted if accompanied by a parent, guardian, or other person of the age of 18 years or more, specially chosen by the parent or guardian to escort the child on the occasion in question, or by a person over 18 years of age having the care and custody of such child. The child shall also be exempted if engaged in any entertainment, night school, or employment which requires his or her presence in or upon such public places during the night time between such specified hours; or such minor shall be exempted if emancipated. For children 14 years of age or over, or who have begun high school, the hours shall be betwee
