What is the cure for endometriosis?
One study showed that a twenty-eight year old female who was suffering from incapacitating symptoms of endometriosis. This woman had a high glycemic index diet with little protein. Her doctor changed her diet dramatically and she began including fish in her diet on a regular basis as well as small amounts of red meat, nuts, yogurt, fruit, vegetables, dried fruit and rye bread. Two months after her diet change, she noticed significant results. Her periods shortened from 17 days to five days. Her pain was also reduced greatly as well. She still suffered moderate pain but it was manageable without having to use painkillers. She noticed an increase in energy and a decrease for cravings of sweets. Because of this lifestyle change in eating habits, she was able to avoid having an operation to help her endometriosis .
