What is the Cuesta College Paralegal Program?
The Cuesta College Paralegal Program is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to become a successful paralegal. A paralegal is a trained specialist who performs a wide variety of legal tasks, including legal research, law office management, and preparation of various legal documents. The primary goal of the Cuesta College Paralegal Program is to offer you a comprehensive program to learn paralegal skills that will prepare you for a variety of different job opportunities, including employment in private law offices, governmental agencies, and businesses where paralegal skills are desirable. The Cuesta College Paralegal Program has been approved by the California Community College Chancellor’s Office and satisfies the requirements of the California Business and Professions Code for both paralegals and legal document assistants.
